PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle which enable the number of rotations of a power source to exceed an allowable number of rotations or suppress it below the allowable number of rotations while suppressing strange feeling imparted to a driver. SOLUTION: An ECU determines whether or not the number of rotations of the power source is in the vicinity of the allowable number of rotations of the power source during the traveling of the vehicle when a transmission mode of an automatic transmission is set to a manual transmission mode (step S110). An operational reaction force of an acceleration pedal is increased stepwise by driving and controlling a reaction force variable mechanism when the number of rotations of the power source is in the vicinity of the allowable number of rotations so that an increase in the operation amount of the acceleration pedal is suppressed (step S120).
