PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic semiconductor material having improved solvent solubility, to form an organic semiconductor film by applying the organic semiconductor material, and to an organic semiconductor device, an organic thin-film transistor, and an organic EL element having the device or the transistor, having high carrier mobility by using the obtained organic semiconductor film. SOLUTION: The organic semiconductor material contains a compound having a partial structure expressed by an expression (1). In the expression, Ar<SB>1</SB>-Ar<SB>3</SB>indicate a 5-membered or 6-membered aromatic ring, but at least one of them is a 5-membered ring.
