PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for efficiently generating organized electronic data from a document with a disordered layout. SOLUTION: When the information processor generates electronic document data from a document in which a plurality of document recording persons (authors) write various comments, examination results, or experimental results, such as a medical chart, a nursing record, or an experiment record, it detects a document direction or polygonal line setting state every layout extracted by layout analysis, and determines the recording order of the document based on the detected information.
