<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the low power consumption of a semiconductor element, after having guaranteed the safe operation of an internal circuit, and furthermore, to suppress increase in the chip size and increase in the manufacturing cost, in a semiconductor device having a processor. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage detection means detects the voltage value of an internal power supply voltage fed to the internal circuit, and a voltage monitoring means monitors the voltage value of the internal power supply voltage detected by the voltage detection means. Then, the voltage monitoring means inputs a control signal for making the internal power supply voltage reach a prescribed voltage to a voltage adjusting manes, when the voltage value of the internal power supply voltage is different from the prescribed voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
