PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of smoothly fitting a driven side clutch plate in spline on an outer circumference side of a clutch member and of improving workability in assembling a drive side clutch plate and the driven side clutch plate in the clutch member. SOLUTION: In the power transmission device including a clutch housing 2, a clutch member 4, and a pressure member 5, and transmitting rotary force input from a gear 1 as an input member to a shaft 3 as an output member and shutting off the same by press contact and separation of a drive side clutch plate 6 and a driven side clutch plate 7, a slope surface 10ba inclined by a predetermined angles in relation to an extension direction of the spline 10 on an attachment side end part of a pressure member 5 of a projection part 10b forming the spline 10 formed on the clutch member 4.
