The stand has a rod (4) with a supporting device (5), which consists of two rotatable rolls (8) arranged adjacent to each other. The rolls consist of rotational axes that are parallel to each other. The rolls are provided for rotatable supporting of a microphone boom (3). The supporting device has lateral supporting units (6a, 6b), which are extended from one end of the rod. An adjusting unit is provided to adjust the length of a belt. An independent claim is also included for a system comprising a hip stand.
