<p>Disclosed are a backlight unit which enables to improve uniformity of luminance and color in the display surface, and a liquid crystal display. Specifically disclosed is a backlight unit comprising a light source device wherein a plurality of point light sources connected in series are arranged on a first substrate and a circuit board wherein a driving circuit for the point light sources is arranged on a second substrate. The circuit board has a variable resistor, whose resistance adjusting unit is exposed to the outside, on the second substrate, and at least one of the point light sources arranged on the ends is connected in parallel with the variable resistor.</p> |
