Waste water filter comprises a stack of thermoplastic support disks (9a) with perforations in their surface which connect with radial drain channels (26) leading to a central drain system (29, 30). The inner (21) and outer (22) edges of the disk are sealed together. The surfaces of the disks have a pattern of ribs (23) and polymer membranes (25) are fitted over them.
