PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which does not easily cause deterioration of images even when dust adheres on a polygon mirror surface along with time and reflectance ratio is reduced. SOLUTION: The image formation apparatus comprises a light source unit, a light deflector for deflecting a light beam from the light source unit for scanning, a light writing device having an optical system which leads the light from the light deflector onto the scanned surface of an image supporter so as to form an image, and a storage means which stores a plurality pieces of shading correction data in advance.
