PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein because displayed positions of all the timer-setup times are fixed in conventional on/off timers, what the timer will operate next has been unclear due to the present operational state. SOLUTION: In the timer device, a timer display 208 is prepared separately in addition to the present time display 207, so as to display the timer setup time to operate next, depending on the present operating condition together with the operating action. For example, when the timer setting "on" of the timer 1 is at 6:00 and "off" is at 9:00, while the timer setting "on" of the timer 2 is at 18:00 and "off" is at 22:00; if operation is being implemented for the present time at 7:00, the timer display becomes to indicate "off at 9:00", and if shutdown had been manually implemented for 7:00, the turned off becomes invalid, but the timer display becomes "on at 18:00".
