PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting rod for high-speed vehicle rescue capable of reducing weight of a head end part of a first vehicle and securing a setting space of various devices in the head end part though low cost and a rescue vehicle connecting structure using it. SOLUTION: The connecting rod 1 for high speed vehicle rescue is constituted to have a rod type main body 2 and connecting mechanisms 3, 4 respectively provided on both ends of the main body 2. The main body 2 is constituted of a composite material of CFRP, etc. A length adjusting mechanism 5 is provided on the main body 2. The connecting mechanism 3 is connected to the connecting mechanism 4 through the connecting structure to enable variation of at least one of an inclination against an axis of the main body 2 and a direction around this axis.
