PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage dryer eliminating malodor of dried garbage by a small amount of a deodorizing agent and can be used comfortably even if installed in a room. SOLUTION: The garbage dryer has a drying sensing means 20 detecting completion of drying and an adsorbent charging device 15 having a charging mechanism storing once an adsorbent 11, and installs a control part 23 charging the adsorbent 11 to a garbage drying container 2 after operation of the drying sensing means 20 and after a lapse of a predetermined time. This enables the adsorption of malodor components generated from dried garbage wherein water is evaporated after the completion of drying, and a temperature of the dried garbage itself is lowered, using the adsorbent. Thereby the activity of the adsorbent can be certainly developed even by a small amount of the adsorbent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
