PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in durability of an elevator rope device even when a rope hanging angle is generated in an elevator rope. SOLUTION: This elevator rope device is equipped with a lock part 4 provided in a tip part of the elevator rope 3; a holding part 11 provided in a position where the tip part of the elevator rope 3 is locked; and an oscillating means 7a for locking the lock part 4 to the holding part 11 so as to freely oscillate the lock part 4 in accordance with change of the rope hanging angle of the elevator rope 3.
