The method involves supplying of fresh air directly to combustion chamber of combustion engine. The fresh air supplied to combustion chamber is determined depending on the portion of fuel or depending on the condition of the supply of the portion of the fuel. An independent claim is also included for the device for determination of the charging of a combustion engine.
