PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized CO reducing device by integrating a heat exchanger with a CO converter. SOLUTION: A CO reducing device 10 is structured so that a hydrogen- containing gas reformed by a reformer is cooled, and upon reduction of CO content, is supplied to a phosphoric acid type fuel cell, and is equipped with a heat exchanger composed of a reformed gas flow path 11 and a cooling gas flow path 12 installed adjacent to the reformed gas flow path 11, wherein the reformed gas flow path 11 is filled with a CO removing catalyst while the cooling gas flow path 12 is filled with a heat conduction accelerating material, and it is arranged so that the reformed gas and cooling gas flow in the opposite directions. |
