An electronic money system is constructed by: a terminal apparatus (12) of the user; an electronic money card (14) having an interface which can be connected to the terminal apparatus and a mobile phone function; and a bank server (10) which is connected to the terminal apparatus via the Internet (16) and connected to the electronic money card (14) via a mobile telephone network. A payment request in which a payment money amount and a payment date/time have been designated is notified to the bank server (10) by the terminal apparatus (12). When the payment date/time arrives, a telephone call is made from the bank server to the electronic money card, establishment of a connection is confirmed, and payment of electronic money to the card is executed. By setting a payment date/time in the future, payment to a lost or stolen card can be prevented. <IMAGE> |
