PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give convenience to a driver by providing the toll reception device at a toll road exit with a common insertion slot for respective paper sheets without making the device large in size. SOLUTION: Discrimination units 5 which each have a common insertion slot 4 for respective paper sheets and decides and classifies paper sheets inserted into the insertion slot 4 by kinds are provided in stages at different height convenient to driver's use, and a paper sheets processing unit 2 is provided so that it can be elevated to the discrimination units 5 installed in the stages. The paper sheets processing unit 2 moves to the stage where a paper sheets is thrown in with the highest possibility and stands by according to vehicle kind data from a vehicle kind deciding device deciding the kind of an entering vehicle and if a paper sheets is inserted at a different stage, the processing unit moves to the stage according to the notice from the units 5 while the discrimination unit 5 is performing the deciding and classifying process. |
