PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid sealed type vibration control device and a method of manufacturing the same capable of facilitating an installation work and reducing cost by eliminating a diaphragm member, and reducing an occupied space in the axial direction. SOLUTION: This vibration control device comprises a mounting metal fitting 11 having a cylindrical metal fitting 13, a plate-like intermediate metal fitting 21 with a center hole disposed apart from the mounting metal fitting, a rubber elastic body part 15 elastically connecting the mounting metal fitting to the intermediate metal fitting and coaxially extending to both surface sides of the intermediate metal fitting, a second mounting metal fitting covered on the rubber elastic body part on the underside of the intermediate metal fitting and having an opening end part fixed to the intermediate metal fitting, and an orifice member 31 disposed on the bottom plate part side of the second mounting metal fitting. The orifice member forms an annular orifice passage along the inner peripheral surface of the second mounting metal fitting and forms a pressure receiving chamber R1 in the space thereof from the rubber elastic body part by the close-fitting thereof to the rubber elastic body part. An equalizing container R2 partly having a space part K is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the second mounting metal fitting, the rubber elastic body, and the intermediate metal fitting.
