A matching number of work-piece carrying devices 25, 26, 27, 28) can be guided with carriages (15, 16, 17, 18) along rails (13, 14) positioned above the stations (1, 2, 3, 4). A first carrying device (25) takes the object (33) to the first station (1) and to a transfer point (38), a second device (26) takes the object (33) from the transfer point (38) to the second station (2) and so on until the work-piece (33) is finally deposited at the collection point (41). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The transfer devices positioned between the stations are parts of a work-piece conveying and processing unit. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The unit can be flexibly used and is of a space saving design.
