The device is configured so that a helical element (111) is selected in an earphone connector (109) when an earphone cable (108) is removed. A reception signal of the antenna selected by the earphone connector (109) is inputted to a broadcast reception circuit (110). Demodulation signal selection circuit (113) operates to select a demodulation signal having a higher signal quality outputted from the broadcast reception circuit (106) or the broadcast reception circuit (110).</p>
