PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiver capable of recording in a high density while maintaining releasability from an ink ribbon, bleeding, fading properties of a pigment on a record and solvent resistance and god adhesive properties to the protective layer in the receiver for thermal transfer recording. SOLUTION: In the image receiver with an image receiving layer on a base used for thermal transfer recording, the layer contains 30 to 100 pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer to 100 pts.wt. of a polyvinyl polyacetal resin, further contains at least one type of compound selected from a carboxylic ester and an isocyanate compound in such a manner that a total content of the carboxylic ester and the isocyanate compound is 0.5 to 20 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the polyvinylacetal resin. |
