<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain desired black images and color images on both exclusive-use paper and plain paper, and particularly to obtain desired clear black images having high water resistance and light resistance on plain paper. <P>SOLUTION: An ink jet recording apparatus is composed of a record head 101 having a first black nozzle group for ejecting a first black ink, a second black nozzle group for ejecting a second black ink, and a color nozzle group for ejecting color inks; a color separating means 201; a black image data storage means 202; a color image data storage means 203; a paper-type information storage means 204; a black nozzle drive means 205 for generating drive signals for simultaneously or selectively ejecting the first black ink and the second black ink from the first black nozzle group 301 and the second black nozzle group 302; and a color nozzle drive means 206 for generating drive signals for ejecting the color inks. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
