摘要 <p>A system and a method for advanced wastewater treatment by arranging a screen, a flow equalization tank, a membrane bioreactor and a sulfur denitrification reactor sequentially and compactly are provided to remove organic matters and suspended solids and to obtain high nitrification ratio in the membrane bioreactor process, and remove phosphorous and nitrogen in the sulfur denitrification process. The system for advanced wastewater treatment by a combination of a membrane bioreactor process and a sulfur denitrification process comprises: a screen(50) for screening raw water by flowing raw water therein; a membrane bioreactor(55) of which one side is connected to the screen; a sulfur denitrification reactor(60) of which one side is connected to the membrane bioreactor; and a chemical tank(70) for injecting alkalinity between the membrane bioreactor and the sulfur denitrification reactor. The system further comprises a flow equalization tank(53) installed between the screen and the membrane bioreactor to equalize fluctuations of a flow amount and water quality with the passage of time. The sulfur denitrification reactor comprises backwashing unit(64) for injecting air as well as water into the sulfur denitrification reactor to maintain the activity of sulfur denitrifying bacteria within the sulfur denitrification reactor.</p>
