The device includes a CPU with a corresponding programming software and which controls impellers that drive electric hammers and motors for turning. The different strokes of the bells as well as the date, time, start and end of bell ringing, are programmable through a touch screen, which may be a liquid crystal display (LCD) type or similar. The CPU may be programmed through connection ports to computers, through connection ports for memory cards such as Compact Flash type memory cards, or by text messages sent from a mobile phone to a GSM modem or similar.
