A location measurement method of a mobile communication terminal having a GPS(Global Positioning System) function is provided to be capable of checking information on the current location of the terminal without passing through an initial location determination process again, based on a GPS in measuring the current location of the terminal, thus fast measurement is carried out. An LBS(Location Based Service) system(50) collects GPS information from the first mobile communication terminal(100), and calculates/stores GPS-based location measurement information from the GPS information(S200-S202). When a request for location information of the first terminal(100) is received from the second terminal(10), the LBS system(50) inquires about the latest GPS-based location measurement information(S203,S204). The LBS system(50) perceives error time which is an error between the current time and transmission time included in the latest GPS-based location measurement information, and compares the error time with set time(S205). If the error time is smaller than the set time, the LBS system(50) provides the latest GPS-based location measurement information to the second terminal(10)(S206). If the error time is larger than the set time, the LBS system(50) provides an ID of a base station where the first terminal(100) is currently located, to the second terminal(10) as the current location information(S207-S213).
