An optical material, such as a polarizing lens, contains polycarbonate or transparent polyamide e.g. transparent nylon, as a main component. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Optical article e.g. sun glass, anti-glare lens or spectacles, shield and optical filter, for reducing bright visible light such as sunlight, or for cutting an ultraviolet-ray of the sunlight or a blue light of 380 to 500 nanometers to protect human eyes from the ultraviolet ray or blue light. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The optical article permits to reduce the risk of exposition of the eyes to the blue light, suppress scattered light while permitting to see contours of far buildings or clouds in a clear and comfortable manner.
