A method for preventing camera noise in a vibration mode of a mobile terminal is provided to prevent a collision between a lens holder and a hub, thereby lengthening a camera lifetime. A method for preventing camera noise in a vibration mode comprises the following steps. When a signal is received in the vibration mode, an offset voltage is applied to a drive unit(40) of a camera(20). A lens holder(32) is arranged above a protrusion(26) of a hub(24). When a vibration motor is turned on, vibration is transferred to the camera(20). After the vibration motor is turned off when a user starts phone conversation, the voltage applied to the drive unit(40) is eliminated.
