发明名称 IMPROVED SYSTEM FOR OBTAINING HYDROCARBON SAMPLES UNDER DOWNHOLE CONDITIONS.
摘要 The present invention is related to an improved probe for testing hydrocarbons from oil wells maintaining downhole pressure and temperature conditions, hereinafter referred to as Improved System for Obtaining Hydrocarbon Samples under Downhole Conditions, where the dampening and heating systems and the inlet valve are improved, while a coupling detector is integrated into an electronic module. The inventive system includes six sections: the first section consists in a nitrogen-charged damper, as well as a valve for charging and purging the same, which may be replaced by a special connector during the sample transference phase. The second section consists in a heater having thermal insulators for controlling temperature, which enhances the system efficiency, also including a chamber for storing the sample. The third section consists in a valve whereby the sample is introduced into the system, the valve being electronically operated by an engine either by programmed time or by a physica l reference such as temperature stabilization or couples detection; pressure and temperature sensors are located over the valve for monitoring the sample conditions, the sensors integrating the fourth section. The fifth section consists in an electronic module for controlling the sensors information obtained from the sample and the oil well, also controlling the engine and the heater supply. This latter section includes an electromagnetic device best known as coupling detector which detects the pipe joints. The sixth section includes a sensor module for measuring the oil well conditions, the sensors being mounted onto a metallic piece where the connector is coupled, said connector being useful for joining the operation equipment together by means of a 1N225AZS75-type mono-conducting cable having an outer diameter of 5/35. The improved system is electrically actuated and may send information to the surface by the recording cable, said system being operated at a pressure of up to 15000 psi, and at a temperature of 150 degree C. The device may be stored at the surface in a temperature stabilizer suitably designed for the protection thereof, which can be identified under Mexican Patent No. 221467. The inventive system is a tool useful for studying the paraffin and asphaltene deposition phenomenon on hydrocarbon pipes, as well as supercritical fluids, and the analysis of PVT, and the assessments of downhole fluids composition.
