<p>The invention relates to a transducer for measuring forces in three directions, and to a measuring method. According to the invention, the transducer is provided with some arms, horizontal and vertical, respectively, the horizontal arm having some upper and lower surfaces, and the vertical arm having some lateral and front surfaces and an end surface, respectively; on the lower and upper surfaces as well as on the lateral and front surfaces there are secured some resistive tensometric transducers that are electrically connected two by two on opposite sides in Wheatstone semibridges, or four by four in complete Wheatstone bridges. According to the invention the applied method consists in balancing the Wheatstone bridges so that the output voltage of each bridge is null, thereafter there follows the calibration of each transducer for the x, y and z directions, followed by determining the constants kx, k'x, ky, kz for converting the forces into relative elongations and the measuring of forces is carried out upon a vehicle passing over the transducers.</p> |
