PURPOSE: An operation display device of a washing machine is provided to improve convenience for a user and washing efficiency according to the reset washing pattern by displaying the quality of washing water with the sensor and indicating the reset washing pattern corresponding to detection of water quality. CONSTITUTION: An operation display device of a washing machine is composed of a water quality detecting sensor(30) detecting the quality of washing water; a microcomputer(40) comparing the detection result of water quality with the predetermined value and deciding the modification of the washing pattern according to the comparison result; and a display unit(50) displaying the detection result of water quality from the water quality detecting sensor and the decision of the microcomputer to quickly cope with the result and to optimally wash the laundry. The water quality detecting sensor is composed of a temperature sensor(31) detecting the water temperature and an electrode sensor(32) detecting the conductivity. The microcomputer measures the hardness of washing water according to the water temperature and the conductivity, and detects the detergent amount dissolved in washing water corresponding to the hardness of washing water. |
