#CMT# #/CMT# The lens has zones (2a, 2c) associated to polarizing filters, where the size and position of the zones are determined based on an eye/head behavior of a wearer e.g. driver, along different orientations. The polarizing filter of one of the zones is oriented vertically with respect to a usage position of the lens that is utilized in a glass (2), where the vertical zone is situated adjacent to a temporal lateral edge of the lens with respect to the usage position. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Polarizing ophthalmic lens e.g. afocal lens, single vision lens, bifocal lens, trifocal lens and progressive lens, for use in a glass worn by walker and driver of motor cycle and motor vehicle, for avoiding glaring caused by a window of a store and a reflecting surface e.g. water plane and wet road. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The zones are associated to the polarizing filter, where the size and position of the zones are determined based on the eye/head behavior of the wearer e.g. driver, along different orientations, thus providing protection of the visual function of the wearer against the glaring due to reflection of light on reflecting surfaces e.g. water planes and wet roads, and window of a store, and hence improving the visual comfort of the wearer in an urban area while driving. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a pair of glasses having two polarizing ophthalmic lenses. 1 : Frame 2 : Glass 2a, 2c : Zones 2b : Central zone 3 : Branches. |
