The stop has a rod (1) extended at an end by a lag screw (2) and at another end by an ovoid part (3). The part receives a locking part (5) of a shutter in open position. A vertical stop block (9) comprises a locking ring (12) engaged to slide across an orifice (6) on the rod between the screw and ovoid part. The rod has two rows of teeth (17) respectively on each side of the rod. Grooves are provided on an interior wall of the orifice and engage the teeth. The stop (9) has an enlarged lower part (8) and a shrinkage upper part (7) receiving a dampening pad (10).
