An exercising machine and a driving method thereof are provided to adjust weight precisely by using a rotation motion device, preferably a motor, and make a user exercise efficiently based on measured maximum muscular strength. The exercising machine includes a rotation motion device, a driving control portion and a measuring portion(104). The driving control portion controls the rotation motion device to let the rotation motion device do rotation motion corresponding to a selected mode according to mode selection. The measuring portion(104) measures the torque of the rotation motion device at the time of rotation motion and detects exercising amount. The driving control portion provides currents corresponding to a mode according to mode selection for the rotation motion device.
