A cheetah muzzle comprising leather straps attached to a face grille made of lightweight stainless steel or titanium measuring 6 cm in width at the front at the front and extending rearwardly away from the front of the grille to maximum width of 8 cm, thereby in use enclosing a cheetah's mouth and reducing the risk of harm to others while allowing the rest of the cheetah's body to move with minimal impairment.
