<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus with emergency warning reception function, capable of operating an emergency warning broadcast output means having power lower than supplied power in normal use, and contributing to reduction in power consumption, while simultaneous power-supply on of disaster coping apparatuses in an area where disaster has occured. <P>SOLUTION: A digital television receiver 100 having emergency warning receiving function is capable of receiving an emergency warning broadcast transmitted from a broadcasting station, and an emergency warning signal that notifies the emergency warning broadcast. The digital television receiver comprises a receiver 10 for receiving the EWS signal to tune to the emergency warning broadcast, an output processor 20 for outputting the emergency warning broadcast tuned by the receiver 10, and a power supply control means 30 for controlling power supply to the output processor 20, based on the EWS signal outputted from the receiver 10.
