<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load of setting for image output intended by a user to reduce a setting error, in the setting of a recording device. <P>SOLUTION: In this image recording system, the kind of a recording medium acquired from the recording device is transmitted to a host device, a setting screen is displayed in a first (or foreground) screen of a monitor of the host device according to the kind to prompt the user to set a parameter, and print data are generated on the basis of the set parameter, to be outputted to a printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
