PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative catalyst, which can be regenerated, for NOxcleaning for automobiles, specially for diesel engine vehicles.

SOLUTION: The catalyst for NOxcleaning for automobiles contains iron and platinum at a molecular ratio of (0.01-0.3):1 and assumes the form of monodisperse particles with an average particle diameter of 1 to 20 nm or their agglomerates.
