PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine having a reduced smoke and HC exhaust rate by elongating a time for supplying a mixture to a ignition plug and widening a range of selecting an ignition timing to improve combustion stability, and to provide its fuel injection control device. SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine with a supercharger has a fuel injection valve for injecting fuel directly into a combustion chamber. It comprises a fuel density control means for controlling the fuel density of a fuel-air mixture around the ignition plug at an ignition timing for the ignition plug under supercharging operation, to be adequate for ignition. Control by a TCV provided in an intake port, as a split spray and air flow generating mechanism, and valve timing control by an intake/exhaust valve accelerate the mixture of fuel and air under supercharging operation.
