PICTURE CHANGE EXTRACTING METHOD, PICTURE CHANGE EXTRACTOR AND PICTURE CHANGE EXTRACTING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for extracting a change by stably reflecting the movement of an object of the outside world, even if an apparent size is not constant when moved in an image screen and even if the time interval of two images provided is different with every pair.

SOLUTION: This method extracts the change in a picture photographed by a camera, and executes the processes of: primary differential calculation processing 14 for making a differential image by executing spatial differential processing with respective points of two images by inputting the two images 11 and 12; a difference information calculation 16 for calculating the size of a difference with respective points of two differential images; and a change determination (17) for providing a change determining result image by executing threshold value processing by determining a threshold value of the difference with respective points of the images on the basis of the size of the difference and a photographing time interval of the two images.
