PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera equipped with a backup function, capable of making the user recognize proper information and a state of the camera, by issuing warning displays or the like at the occurrence of an abnormity. SOLUTION: The warning display clearly indicates the state of the camera: whether it is a display associated with a main recording medium or associated with a backup recording medium, with respect to the backup function.
