PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disable a document to be illegally copied and to know a person who has tried to illegally copy the document. SOLUTION: When images of a document are read by an image reader 11 to obtain electronic image data, and a predetermined pattern is recognized from those image data, by a first image data processor 14; illegal copy prevention processing is performed upon the image data. At the same time, a video image is photographed around an MFP (Multifunction Peripheral) 1 at the time of performing the illegal copy prevention processing, video data thereof are acquired and stored in an HDD (Hard Disk Drive) 13 by a video storage device 15, and those video data are transmitted to a PC (Personal Computer) 3 of an external manager via a network 2.
