PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fuel consumption indicator and car status indicator for displaying information which the driver desires to know. SOLUTION: Based on the outputs from an odometer sensor 10 and a fuel consumption sensor 12, a processing section 14 calculates the average fuel consumption, instantaneous fuel consumption, total fuel consumption, and record highest fuel consumption stored in each of storage sections 16, 18, 20, 22, respectively.
