PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant composition for CIP (cleaning-in-place) and an acidic deodorizing cleaning agent composition for CIP which efficiently remove flavors attached to production facilities for various beverages and foods, in particular, flavors attached to packings and the like, and having good rinsing property, and a deodorizing cleaning method using them. SOLUTION: The deodorant composition for CIP comprises (A) a cyclodextrin, (B) an ethercarboxylic acid or an alkali salt thereof, (C) a nonionic surfactant, (D) a solubilizing agent and (E) water, and the acidic deodorizing cleaning agent composition for CIP further comprises (F) an inorganic acid and/or an organic acid (provided that higher fatty acids are excluded). A cleaning method for performing both acid-cleaning and deodorization in a single step for production facilities for various beverages and foods using a diluted acidic deodorizing cleaning agent solution prepared by mixing and conditioning the deodorant composition and a commercially available acidic CIP cleaning agent or the deodorizing cleaning agent composition, is also provided.
