PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor system having a damper mounting structure for surely fixing a damper to a receiving member and not causing slack due to deterioration of an axial force of a bolt. SOLUTION: In this in-wheel motor, a flange part 15F is installed at a tip of a shaft 15b of a damper 15 used for a shock absorbing mechanism elastically supported to a knuckle as a chassis part of a vehicle. While the flange part 15F is brought into contact with a damper receiving member 17 mounted to an annular rib member projecting radially inward from a non-rotary side case 3a of a motor 3, a bolt 19 is screwed into a screw hole 15M provided to the shaft 15b, so as to fasten the damper 15 with the receiving member 17.
