PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device of a raising/lowering rope allowing a worker to freely move laterally and work efficiently. SOLUTION: This support device 10 of the raising/lowering rope for use in the work in a waste disposal site is set in a crown part and a small step part of a slope in the waste disposal site and comprises an arm part 11 locking the raising/lowering rope and a guide part 12 laterally movably supporting the arm part 11.
