PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of reducing noise by controlling vibration in a machine room by preventing an evaporating pan from being affected by vibration of a high-temperature refrigerant pipe placed in the evaporating pan for evaporating defrost water. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises the machine room 4 formed at a back lower portion of a refrigerator main body, a compressor base 5 mounted in a state of forming a bottom surface of the machine room, a compressor 6 held and fixed on the compressor base as a part of a refrigerating cycle, and the evaporating pan 9 for storing and evaporating the defrost water from a cooler. A discharge-side refrigerant pipe 15 from the compressor extends to be dipped in the defrost water in the evaporating pan, and a pipe fixing fixture 21 for holding the refrigerant pipe in the evaporating pan through a cushion body 22, is fixed to the compressor base.
