PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine supercharging device with an electric supercharger for suppressing the further progression of deterioration of a battery, when detected. SOLUTION: The engine supercharging device is constructed so that a rush current higher than an operating current in the normal condition of the electric supercharger is supplied when an operated condition falls into a predetermined supercharging region. It comprises a battery deterioration detecting means for detecting the deteriorating condition of the battery, and an electric supercharger control means for lowering the rush current when the deterioration of the battery is detected by the detecting means.
