The participant or player may have an opportunity of engaging in real-world activities and transactions in order to obtain a promotional virtual world premium or privilege. In some implementations, multiple players at different locations can be involved in the virtual world and real-world activities and transactions that involve and may be affected by the virtual world premium or privilege.
