A system and a method for implementing electronic pet in mobile telephone are disclosed in the present invention. It includes: first, installs the electronic pet terminal application in the mobile telephone terminal; the electronic pet terminal application generates the pet exchange data according to the user's instruction, and uploads it to the electronic pet model server through the mobile network; the electronic pet model server inputs the received interactive data into the electronic pet model and calculates the pet's next state data; the electronic pet model server real-timely transmits the state data to the mobile telephone terminal at the terminal side, the terminal having the electronic pet terminal application; the electronic pet terminal application in the mobile telephone terminal analyzes the received state data, and displays it on the mobile telephone terminal. The method in the invention can optionally increase and replace the electronic pet in the mobile telephone according to the user's requirement, thereby it enriches the content of the 3G data service.
