<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white light emitter which can reduce a color variation in a white light emitter of high color rendering properties combining a light emitting element and a plurality of kinds of phosphors, and to provide a lighting device using it. <P>SOLUTION: The white light emitter includes a substrate having a cup-like concave portion, a blue-color light-emitting diode packaged on the bottom face of the concave portion, and a transparent resin is distributed in which the phosphor charged in the concave portion emits visible light other than a blue color by being excited by blue light. At least two or more kinds of phosphors are used, the transparent resin is made to be at least two layers or more of different phosphors that are contained, and out of those layers, the number of kinds of the phosphors contained in the lower layer formed in the bottom face side of the concave portion is the same or smaller than the number of kinds of the phosphors contained in the upper layer formed at the opening side of the concave portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
